Trikkannad Tryambakeshwara Kshethra, located near Bekal in the Kasaragod district of Kerala, is a revered Shiva temple known for its unique coastal setting and profound spiritual ambiance. The temple is famously positioned right along the Arabian Sea, offering visitors a rare experience of worship by the ocean.

Dedicated to Lord Tryambakeshwara (Shiva), the temple is believed to be one of the rare seashore Shiva shrines in Kerala. The main deity, represented in the form of a Swayambhu (self-manifested) Shiva Lingam, is worshipped with great devotion, and the temple is considered a powerful place for ancestral rites and spiritual healing.
The temple architecture reflects the traditional Kerala style, with a sanctum, namaskara mandapam, and a balikkal (sacrificial stone). The proximity to the sea adds a mystical charm, especially during the early morning and evening poojas accompanied by the soothing sound of waves.
It is believed that rituals performed here, especially during new moon days (Amavasi), are highly auspicious for seeking ancestral blessings. This has made it a prominent destination for families conducting rites for departed souls.
